SHEZ
SHEZ is a London-based artist, multi-instrumentalist and an award-winning composer for film and tv. Using the guitar as a foundation, his music weaves together raw vocal elements of soul and R&B with jazz and blues-inspired melodies and harmony.
He released his self-produced debut EP ‘Our Time’ in 2022 and has had songs played on national radio by BBC Introducing, Reprezent Radio and Threads. He’s also performed at venues across London such as Soho Theatre, The Lower Third and Notting Hill Arts Club and has collaborated with artists such as Elaha Soroor, anaiis and Victoria Port.
His latest single ‘Freeze’ was released on the Stereofox label on the 14th of November 2024.
“I've been a fan of SHEZ since "Rhythm Section", his only 2nd release which we featured on the blog back in 2020.

Today, I'm more than excited to share our debut release with him, called "Freeze". The song plays with the concept of cold – both outside & inside, and how love is the thing you actually need most.
“Freeze” is about feeling desire for a connection with someone during the winter months. The idea of finding warmth in someone and taking shelter within one another,” he shares.
Staying true to his tastefully experimental approach towards r&b, SHEZ blends jazzy drums, hazy vocals, relatable & honest lyricism – in both English & Spanish, and a marvelous synth solo at the end.'“
